Susno Duadji - Former National Police detective chief Comr. Gen. Susno Duadji says he is not worried over his being named a defamation suspect for reporting a possible graft case at the law enforcement institution.
“I accept any status declared and any charge held against me [by the police]. It is a risk I have calculated,” he told kompas.com in a text message on Wednesday.
“I obey the law and I have to obey the law,” he added.
Susno Ditangkap accused a number of police officers, including two police generals, of embezzling the money in an alleged money laundering and tax evasion case because they stopped the investigation into the case.
The National Police's Brig. Gen. Edmon Ilyas and Brig. Gen. Raja Erizman later reported him for defamation under Articles 310 and 311 of the Criminal Code, which carries a sentence of up to four years in prison.
